Lights & Bushels Theatre Company
Maverick or monster? Before Mary, before Byron, before Frankenstein, the life of Horsham’s most (in)famous son was already the stuff of scandal.
Our next production, Mad Shelley, will be performed at the Capitol Studio, Horsham from 5th – 7th September as part of the HDC Year of Culture Fringe. A powerful and thought-provoking play by Kathryn Attwood, it deals with the less well known, but no less fascinating aspects of the life of Percy Bysshe Shelley – his first marriage and subsequent estrangement from his wealthy Horsham family.
An informal read-through for casting purposes will take place on Wednesday 3rd April at the Tythe Barn, Pondtail Road, Horsham, RH12 5JF at 8.00pm. We do not have a formal membership - our auditions are open to anyone. Old friends and new faces equally welcome! If you are interested in joining us for this production please email us – email@example.com – so that we can send you a script in advance and answer any queries you may have.
